Is there a free trial?
No card required. Your 7-day free trial needs only an email — full access to any paid plan, no payment details until you decide to continue.
We'll email you a reminder around day 4 so you have time to add a card before the trial ends. If you don't add one by day 7, your account is paused and your data is held for 7 days in case you come back.
My verification link isn't working when I click it. What's wrong?
Two things to check. First, make sure you're clicking the link in the same browser you signed up in — verification links are tied to your browser, so if you signed up on your laptop and clicked the email on your phone, it won't work. Open the email on the laptop instead.
Second, links expire after 24 hours. If it's been longer than that, request a fresh one from the sign-in page.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account settings at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're prorated for the difference. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for.
Do you charge GST/HST?
Yes — GST or HST is added at checkout based on your province. Canuck-Tax.ca is a Canadian company (ElevareAI Inc., based in Calgary, AB) and we're required to collect tax on Canadian sales.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period — no refunds for partial months, but no surprise charges either. Your data stays available for 7 days after cancellation in case you change your mind.
Do you offer refunds?
If you cancel within the first 14 days of paid service (after your trial), email us at hello@canuck-tax.ca and we'll refund the most recent charge. Beyond that window we don't offer refunds, but you can cancel anytime to stop future billing.
Is my tax data secure?
Yes. All data is stored in Canada on infrastructure located in Canadian regions, encrypted in transit and at rest, and we're PIPEDA compliant. We never sell your data, never train AI models on your data, and you can export or delete your data at any time.
